The AGA Guam Chapter provides professional development seminars to advance government accountability and the profession through various activities, including but not limited to:

CPEs during general membership meetings and training sessions;

Speaking at student organizations, offering scholarships, and establishing a mentorship program;

Support for CGFM candidates and scholarships;

Awards for government entities that prepare Citizen-Centric Reports.

Fall 2026 UOG and GCC Scholarship Opportunities
The AGA Guam Chapter is offering scholarship funds for Fall 2026:
-
Herminia Dierking Scholarship. Two (2) undergraduate students at the University of Guam who have exhibited academic excellence in the Accounting, Business Administration, Finance and Economics, or Public Administration disciplines; and
-
AGA Guam Chapter Scholarship. Two (2) undergraduate students at the Guam Community College who have exhibited academic excellence in the Accounting discipline.
Two students will be awarded $1,000 each for Herminia Dierking Scholarship. Two students will be awarded $600 each for AGA Guam Chapter. Please note the minimum GPA of 3.0 should be as of Spring Semester 2026.

Virtual General Membership Meeting
Our September 2026 Virtual General Membership Meeting will be held this Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at 11:30 AM.
Our speaker is Dr. Thomas G. Calderon, Professor of Accounting Emeritus at the University of Akron and University of Guam Visiting Professor in Accounting. His topic is "Algorithmic Bias, AI and the Government Accountant". One (1) CPE will be issued to attendees.
Free CPE for AGA/GSCPA Members and $10 fee for Non-Members. Register today!
Please do not forget to also log-in https://agaguam.cnf.io during the meeting to qualify for the CPE.
